Dr. Ting Sie Chun is a Civil Engineer at Public Works Department (JKR) Malaysia. He received his B.Eng. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak in 2009. He received his M.Eng. (By Research) in Water Resources Engineering from the same university in 2011. He further his study in Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional and graduated in 2015. With more than ten years of experience as a civil engineer, he obtained Professional Technologist (Ts.) with the Malaysian Board of Technologist, Professional Geospatialist (Gs.) with the Institution of Geospatial and Remote Sensing Malaysia and Professional Engineer (Ir.) with the Board of Engineer Malaysia. Before joining JKR Malaysia, Dr Ting was a Civil Engineer with Sewerage Services Department Sarawak from 2010 to 2012.
He was attached to Planning and Development Division as a Contract Administrator; managing sewerage projects in Sarawak ranging from RM2Million to RM530Million.
Currently, Dr. Ting was attached to Health Works Facilities Department, JKR Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur implementing health facilities for the State of Sarawak. Prior to that, he administered contract for hospital project in Sarawak. Formerly, he was attached to Development and Privatization Division, Ministry of Works Malaysia as an Assistant Secretary implementing Pan Borneo Project. He also a designer and desk officer when serving at Airbase and Maritime Branch, JKR Malaysia.
